Feminine T Shirts That Fit Women

I recently purchased a couple of t shirts online from a Colorado company called Onno.  Their website is Onno.com.  I am ecstatic with the superb fit, high quality cotton, hemp, and bamboo material.

Now that I am playing table tennis almost daily, I wanted to switch to wearing breathable fabrics and incorporate my favorite colors.  The clothing sold for these athletes does not suit me.  It’s made of polyester, the cuts don’t show the female physique, and the extra small jersey I ordered online hung on me, baggy, unflattering, and masculine looking.

I found a few pair of linen shorts from Nordstrom.  They are light, airy, and colorful.  They match the Onno tees beautifully.  It feels right to wear colors that work with my hair and skin.  These outfits will meet the requirements for the tournaments I’m playing, yet still offer a sense of comfort, age appropriateness, and personal expression.

What do you wear when you exercise?  Does the color of your clothing affect your mood?  It sure does mine…I now have pale pink, powder blue, dirty purple, calming green and cherry red.  I can’t wait to wear them all to play!

  1. What is the meaning of the word Exercise... 🤔 😃 I'm gradually going through my entire wardrobe and getting rid of clothes that no longer suit me. Some colours make me look awful while others take years off me. I've yet to find a nice quality flattering t shirt.

  2. You seem to get plenty of exercise with your gardening, Cherie. I love these t’s…there’s a photo of me wearing the red one at the US Open, a couple posts down…

  3. I don't wear teeshirts to exercise, it's either super bright Speedo Endurance swimsuits - as I'm smaller than the average Brit my size is always reduced to clear - or wild yoga leggings and lurid crop tops which I find in charity shops.
Wearing something that makes you feel good makes exercise even more fun! xxx

    1. You always find the perfect vintage items, Vix. Sometimes I just want soft cotton or hemp, rather than the tight spandex of my fitness tops.

  4. Many, many years ago I had my "colors done" which was a big fad at the time. I was completely amazed when I was draped in colors that were appropriate to my complexion. I have followed that color concept ever since. I also prefer natural fabrics as opposed to polyester.

    1. I remember that, “Color Me Beautiful.” It does make a huge difference, Anita. I think it also has to do with the color of the aura.

  5. Bamboo is lovely to wear! I am with you with natural fibres, also my preference.

    1. I ordered a couple of the bamboo and cotton ones, Christina. I really like them, too.

  6. I really prefer girlie colours. Hilariously, one colour that I refer not to wear is blue. But my aura has a lot of blue in it

    1. Interesting…that makes sense. You are so expressive. I just started wearing blue. And am really enjoying it.
