Gorgeous Trees and Mountains in the Snow

I'm sorry that I haven't posted in so long.  I have been up in the mountains, enjoying the beauty and splendor.  This is my side yard at the cabin.  I snapped this photo the morning after it snowed, while I was taking Lula out to go potty.  The landscape is so enchanting!

It looks like I need to get a new computer in order to have a browser that works for me.  I will look into it when prices drop in January.

Tomorrow I will catch up on your blogs and start leaving comments again.  How is the weather where you live?

Thank you for your comments.  They add so much talent and energy to the blog.  Please comment in English.  I'm sorry, but comments with links will not be published.  If you enjoy the posts here, please share them.  Comments may take some time to appear; they are moderated.

    1. Thanks Joy. I took that with my Lively flip phone. I was so pleased when I saw how it came out...lighting is everything. This was snapped early in the morning.

    1. Thank you, Jules. It has been very dry in California, so this snow is a cause for celebration! It really helps the trees and the earth. I will catch up on your blog today.

  4. Just reading that sentence 'I was up in the mountains' made my heart sing. It must have been beautiful to be surrounded by all that glorious nature. Nice to see you back posting again. I was getting a little concerned about you.

    1. Hi Cherie, Nature is so inspiring. I feel so fortunate to live here, among these majestic trees and mountains. Thank you for your concern. I hate to buy new devices when mine work just fine. I need the browser to post on my blog, though.

  7. Your picture looks like a postcard. It is just beautiful. Regular pea soup fog down here this morning, but it should be sunny later on. I need to get a new laptop also. A very nasty black line has started across the entire screen and seem to be getting thicker and thicker. Glad to read all is well with you and Lula.

    1. I know what you mean, Anita. My television started doing the same thing, only it's a purple vertical line with a popping sound that sounds like it's going to blow up! Fortunately, the seller left several other t.v.'s. They had them in every room!

    1. Hi Anna, I hope you are warm and comfortable. I love the rain, but we rarely get it in Southern California.

  9. That is beautiful! How comforting to have such a stunning retreat in which to harbor while the world goes nuts. Looking at that scene could make you forget all other existence.
