This is one of my favorite places to walk. I snapped some photos to show you...
The homes all have so much charm and character. They are all different, and each one has its own personality. I love all the trees and land. It makes you feel protected.
I met some friendly dog walkers. We stopped and chatted about hiking, our favorite trails, and discussed our dogs. .
Do you have a favorite place to walk or bike where you live?

So pretty, and how lucky to have a nature place to walk in, especially in these unusual of times. I was wondering where this is?
ReplyDeleteHi swami, Thanks for reading and for commenting. This is in Wrightwood, California. It's a small town about an hour and a half from Los Angeles. Big Pines is off of the Pearblossom Hwy.
DeleteIt looks so calm and peaceful, Stephenie. I imagine life takes a slower pace up there. Thank you for sharing the photos. :) Currently, I'd say that my garden is my favorite place in which to walk! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is, Bless. I love the slower pace and time spent in nature. Walking in your garden sounds ideal.
DeleteBeautiful! And a lovely day for a walk. Andrea
ReplyDeleteIt is, Andrea. The weather is just perfect.
DeleteSuch a lovely place to walk, Stephanie. I love walking where there are trees. We are very lucky to live in a little pocket, bordering state forest, and with a walking/biking path that follows a creek line. Just this morning, while out walking our dog together, we were saying just how lucky we are to live in this area and to be able to enjoy nature so close to where we live. MegXx
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like the perfect escape, Meg. I love paths that have no cars.
DeleteThat's a lovely place to walk, calm and gentle. The filtered light is so restful, I think.

I think so, too, Joy. This is an ideal time for taking photos.
DeleteThat is such a pretty landscape... Just my kind of place. There are some lovely areas of Scotland that look very similar and if it wasn't for the fact that Tony would be eaten alive by the midge we would move there without hesitating
ReplyDeleteI don't know what the midge is, Cherie. I will have to google it.
DeleteSuch a beautiful place for a walk. I have several favourites that I like to take a walk depending on the season and weather.
ReplyDeleteSo do I, mm. Last night we took an amazing hike on one of our favorite trails.
DeleteOne of the reasons I enjoy walking is meeting other likeminded folk along the way. It looks so beautiful there among the trees. X
ReplyDeleteMe, too, Jules. It is a stunning setting with the lake and trees.
DeleteWe are lucky to live on the rim of the San Dieguito Riverpark Reserve. Our end includes Lake Hodges which is less than a mile away. I love hiking on the trails which are very hilly. My daily hikes are usually on the local neighborhood streets. I enjoy seeing people's front yard landscaping, admiring roses, seeing neighbors and their dogs, following the progress of remodeling being done. Don't you just love our weather right now?
ReplyDeleteI do, Anita. It's just perfect. The roses love it, too.
DeleteSo do I, Angela. Thanks for visiting.
