    1. I think it's an excellent idea, Terra. I especially like how they receive help with repairs.

  2. My local council has a similar thing. It's called 'Ageing Better' and it's been designed to support older people. All manner of clubs, activities and outings are organised (pre covid) I am sure it's been a lifeline for the older population. Particularly those that live alone.

    1. Yes, it's wonderful that they can stay in their own homes where they are most comfortable.

    1. I think so, too, Anita. Boston seems like a very sophisticated place.

  4. Fantastic. In New Zealand there are all sorts of things like this for the aged, which is great. One of my sisters is a care giver for the very aged, and has done it for years. She just loves it, and when I asked her what it was that she loved - she smiled and said "Nannas and Poppas". She never knew her grandparents.

    1. That's wonderful, ratnamurti. Quality of life makes all the difference in how you feel as you get older. Your sister will always have work. There is such a need for people like her.
