Taco Seasoning Recipe



Taco Seasoning Recipe

1 lb. ground beef or turkey
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. onion powder
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of cayenne pepper

Brown the meat and sprinkle on the seasonings. I add a small amount of water and let the meat simmer for a few minutes.

Serve in taco shells with chopped fresh onion, diced tomatoes, lettuce, and finely grated cheese.

  3. Ah ha, it looks similar (same ingredients) but mine makes a batch, meaning a bunch then use X amount per pound of meat. It's delicious and I love not eating red food coloring and preservatives 😊

  4. That's a good idea, Selina. That way it's all ready to use. Good point about the red food coloring and preservatives. Most of us have all of thes spices available in our stockpile.
