Nearby Fires

I'm sorry that I haven't been able to comment on all of your blogs.  We have had some fires in the San Fernando area recently.  I am making arrangements and getting organized.  It's nice to have somewhere to go in situations like these; the freeways can get clogged.

Once I figure out how to post on my blog up in the mountains, I will.  There are a few extra steps I need to learn.  I use the Internet at the local library.  Thanks for reading.

Thank you for your comments.  They add so much talent and energy to the blog.  Please comment in English.  I'm sorry, but comments with links will not be published.  If you enjoy the posts here, please share them.

  8. I have been watching the fires and hoping they don't get too close to you. I suspect you are experiencing some smoky skies at the least. Stay safe and keep us all updated.

  9. Hi Stephenie. I tried to leave a reply on Saturday but my internet kept dropping off each time I tried to send it.

Hope everything is under control and back to normal. Fire is a very scary thing to deal with. Stay safe. x

  11. I'm glad to read that you are safe, Stephenie, and had the cabin to go to. There have been terrible bushfires on the East coast of Australia recently; the whole region has been in drought and tinder dry. Quite a number of people lost their homes in fires recently and it's such a sad thing.

Overnight, we were woken by storms that came through here. That rain was wonderful follow-up to that which we had a few days ago. I'm not sure if regions further west received anything overnight. I hope so.

    1. It was that way here, too, Meg. I'm sorry that so many people there lost their homes. Last year we had plenty of rain and snow, which made all of the difference.

I'm glad that you had a storm. That must have been a relief. I miss your blog!
